Rome, Tritone Exhibition Space, November 15th, 2014. An evening dedicated to the great protagonists of modern science in the Tritone Exhibition Space of Fondazione Sorgente Group. One hundred guests from the world of culture, diplomacy, business and high society attended yesterday, Friday, November 14th, a conference with cocktails and guided tour, for a preview of the exhibition and event "Magisters astronomiae from the XVI to the XIX century: Christopher Clavius, Galileo Galilei and Angelo Secchi."

The Vice-President of Fondazione Sorgente Group Paola Mainetti was pleased to present a preview of this special and unprecedented event to a few selected guests, sharing this hospitality with Prof. Valter Mainetti, CEO of Sorgente Group and President of the Fondazione. From Monday November 17th, the public will relive first hand "a very important page of history that marks the birth of modern science through the contribution of memorable protagonists," as was said during the evening by Prof. Claudio Strinati, Scientific Director of the Fondazione. Waiting for the guests was a pool of experts who conducted exclusive tours of the valuable documents and extraordinary scientific instruments that formed the basis of astronomical exploration and knowledge.
